| シュギー・オーティス 1974年発売『Inspiration Information』のアナログ盤(カラー・ヴァイナル) 近年ではフリー・ソウル、クラブ・シーンからの再評価も著しいシュギー・オーティスのサード・アルバム。ホーンとストリングス以外のすべての楽器をひとりで多重録音した他、いち早くリズム・ボックスを導入するなど、のちのローファイ・サウンドやエレクトロニカを先取りしたかのような内容。独特の浮遊感漂う楽曲はいまではサンプリングの元ネタとしても使われている。オーティスがマルチ・プレイヤーとしての多才ぶりを発揮した、時代を超越する作品。 |
